Manage engineering delivery teams working on aerospace surveillance products
Oversee engineering delivery, ensuring projects remain on track and within budget
Manage full V-lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices
Develop and maintain engineering plans, tracking progress and milestones
Identify and mitigate project risks, minimising impact on delivery
Solve problems proactively as they arise and seek opportunities for efficiency improvements
Manage projects predominantly in the Hardware domain
Communicate across boundaries to maintain stakeholder engagement and ensure smooth execution under pressure
Requirements
Degree level qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline (HNC/HND acceptable with significant demonstrable experience in lieu)
Strong understanding of the V-lifecycle
Demonstrated ability to manage complex engineering projects across multiple domains
Expertise in tracking project progress, managing risks, and maintaining budgets
Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
Ability to problem-solve and proactively seek project improvements
Proven experience in engineering delivery management
10 years post graduate relevant work experience
Aerospace experience preferred; military or other adjacencies may suit
Able to work across the full Engineering Development Lifecycle
UK sole National BPSS Cleared
Able to obtain SC
Willingness to work minimum 3 days per week at Crawley
