About the role
- Collaboration between vertical and data-ai practice for support on driving revenue and delivery support
- Lead the design and development of enterprise data architectures, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models, data flow diagrams, and data dictionaries.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and data scientists to gather and analyze requirements, identify data sources, and define data integration and analytics requirements.
- Design and implement scalable and cost-effective data storage, processing, and analytics solutions, leveraging cloud-based technologies and platforms where applicable.
- Evaluate and recommend data management tools, technologies, and frameworks to support data ingestion, storage, processing, and analytics requirements.
- Develop and maintain data governance policies, standards, and best practices to ensure data quality, security, privacy, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to data engineering teams on best practices for data modeling, data integration, and data architecture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, or similar role, with a strong background in designing and implementing data architectures.
- Proficiency in data modeling tools and techniques, including ER modeling, dimensional modeling, and data warehouse design principles.
- Experience with database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and NewSQL databases, as well as data warehousing platforms (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, Redshift).
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms and services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
