About the role

  • Lead Performance/Non-Functional testing projects for Expleo’s customers
  • Lead the testing effort and be accountable for Performance/NFT test related activity on projects
  • Feed into centralised project review meetings to update stakeholders on project status
  • Work and co-ordinate with Project Manager, Lead Architect and Delivery Manager to deliver projects
  • Review and contribute to scope, Performance/NFR projects, test design, estimates and closure artefacts
  • Manage, lead & co-ordinate actions on test domain with support of Lead Architect
  • Create and deliver Plan, Strategy and Performance/NFT process, criteria, templates, tools and standards
  • Provide escalation support and quality assurance checks throughout the project
  • Review, lead & co-ordinate pre-requisites, dependencies, estimates, test design, execution and reporting
  • Collaboratively manage service partners and vendors to deliver projects to high quality and on time
  • Provide key stakeholder management in a multi-vendor, multi-test discipline environment
  • Manage the test life cycle and co-ordinate Test Leads and Testers both onshore and offshore

Requirements

  • Additional course or certification in Quality Engineering or IT Management
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience
  • ISTQB Advanced Test Manager, preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, maintain confidentiality, shares ideas and information, facilitates discussions and transfers knowledge to diverse audiences
  • Has achieved trusted advisor status at a senior level with the client
  • Excellent client-facing skills and takes time to establish underlying needs of client beyond those initially expressed
  • Experience in leading a Performance/NFT project
  • Experience in managing upwards with multiple people, gaining their trust quickly
  • Experience in managing a team and coordinating time and budget
  • Good people skills, with experience of introducing and building ways in which people can learn from each other
  • Encourages mentoring and the transfer of knowledge by designing and delivering learning interventions
  • Takes on high commitments and works to achieve results; resilient in face of challenges
  • Good applications/technology knowledge with practical experience of engineering/development tools and platforms
  • Solid understanding of performance/non-functional test specification, analysis and design, implementation and system integration, execution, results evaluation, problem resolution and planning
  • Experience in designing, coding, testing and correcting scripts from agreed specifications using agreed standards and tools
  • Experience in implementing robust error handling and clear/consistent reporting functionality
  • Knowledge of relevant testing tools in performance/NFT and test automation: LoadRunner, JMeter, NeoLoad, Gatling, LoadUI, ALM, Dynatrace, SiteScope, Cucumber or Selenium
  • Knowledge and experience of monitoring tools such as Datadog, New Relic, Prometheus, AppDynamics or Grafana
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools
  • Strong knowledge of databases
  • Exposure to Test Management tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA or ALM
