About the role

  • Client-facing Project Manager role leading IT delivery projects for Expleo’s clients
  • Work independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders and internal/external teams
  • Programme follows Waterfall while partners may use Agile; experience with both is desirable
  • Work on high-profile, inter-dependent projects requiring open communication and attention to detail
  • Contribute to the continued growth of the Practice over time
  • Responsibilities include: Build and maintain detailed project plans, RAID management, monitor project budgets, provide regular status reporting, ensure deliverable quality

Requirements

  • Desirable Certifications: MAPM, Scrum Master, PMP, Prince2
  • Strong understanding of the systems development lifecycle
  • Ability to understand and lead the construction of system & data integrations
  • Excellent client-facing skills
  • Ability to think logically and use own initiative as well as mine in-house and supplier IP
  • Apply project management disciplines: stakeholder identification and management, supplier management, risk and issue logs, decision logs
  • Strong understanding of Waterfall methodologies
  • Strong understanding of Agile (Kanban & Scrum)
  • Experience of working with Programme and Project managers in large deployments
  • People management skills – ability to lead and focus teams in complex projects
  • Strong self-management and continuous performance mindset
  • Desire to build IT domain knowledge – tools, applications, platforms
  • Analytical mindset to manage critical path and details
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Microsoft Project experience
  • Experience of leading medium and large-scale projects with multiple sub-projects and inter-dependencies
  • Experience in data migration from legacy systems to new, including culling of non-essential data and consideration of parallel runs and multi-wave implementation
  • Supplier management experience
  • Change management experience (processes, training, documentation, organisational change)
  • Comfortable working within a hybrid Waterfall/Agile framework
  • Experience within the automotive or energy industry desirable
  • Willingness/ability to be on-site in Buckinghamshire 1 to 2 days per week or as programme requires
