About the role
- Create detailed 2D & 3D drawings and technical documentation for aerospace components & Electrical systems.
- Develop new parts in line with engineering specifications and industry standards.
- Revise and update existing drawings to reflect design changes or improvements.
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure accuracy, manufacturability, and compliance.
- Maintain drawing databases and ensure proper version control.
- Support design reviews and incorporate feedback from cross-functional teams.
- Ensure all work adheres to aerospace industry regulations, standards, and client requirements.
Requirements
- HND/HNC Electrical Engineering or Equivalent
- Strong Proficiency in CAD software - CATIA V5
- Strong drafting skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of aerospace standards, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
