About the role
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and deliver features
- Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and security
- Lead code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior developers
- Integrate applications with third-party APIs and services
- Contribute to architectural decisions and best practices across the team
- Support CI/CD pipelines and agile delivery practices
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM frameworks
- Experience with frontend technologies (JavaScript, React, or similar)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and system integrations
- Experience with testing frameworks (RSpec, Capybara, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile teams
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
