About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive growth of business and member products through data analysis, model creation, marketing strategy development, and performance monitoring across channels
  • Collaborate with marketing managers, channel owners, and external partners to identify new opportunities and initiatives
  • Analyze marketing strategy effectiveness, including funnel efficiency, CPA, and ROI, and provide data-driven recommendations
  • Design, analyze, and interpret A/B tests and quasi-experiments
  • Design and validate campaign lifecycle processes, data pipelines, model scoring, and execution
  • Define KPIs, design reporting frameworks, and develop self-service dashboards
  • Manage end-to-end Direct Mail campaigns, including underwriting, marketing, suppression rules, coding, validation, approvals, file ingestion, and performance tracking
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses of funnels, user behavior, monetization, and retention to identify growth and efficiency opportunities
  • Translate business objectives into actionable data-driven tactics and campaigns
  • Provide timely partner analyses and solution-oriented recommendations
  • Communicate complex data insights to senior leadership and partners through compelling narratives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, or a quantitative field required
  • 5+ years of experience in a data science or analytics role
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with Product and Business leaders
  • Direct mail experience and ability to manage campaign selection and execution
  • Strong programming skills in SQL and Python/R
  • Proficiency in Tableau
  • Experience with growth, lifecycle, or funnel optimization problems
  • Experience building data pipelines with Airflow, preferably in Snowflake
  • Experience with experimentation design, hypothesis testing, and statistical analysis
  • Knowledge of statistical modeling or machine learning is a plus
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving product environments
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively and drive projects to completion
  • Strong business acumen, curiosity, communication, and presentation skills, including presenting to leadership
  • Strong preference for financial services industry experience and familiarity with banking products and marketing channels
  • Experience with consumer bureau data, including Experian/TU
  • Knowledge of business bureau data is good to have
