About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Generate, review and prepare files of outgoing Audit Letters daily
  • Maintain tracking of all outgoing letters using Excel spreadsheets
  • Meet quality and productivity standards indicated by service level
  • Comply with HIPAA and other confidentiality regulations
  • Escalate issues to management and handle follow-up actions as needed
  • Communicate and report system or workflow issues to appropriate leadership or team members
  • Monitor and respond to chats from providers
  • Monitor and respond to internal and external email correspondence
  • Make outbound calls to providers to assist with portal use, verify address and contact information, and confirm receipt of EXL request letters
  • Perform other duties supporting the audit process and company-wide programs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior healthcare experience is a plus
  • Ability to work in an organized, efficient and process-oriented manner
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to problem solve
  • Ability to transition between tasks while maintaining attention to detail
  • Time management, prioritization and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment independently or with a team
  • Comfortable using various software programs
  • Ability to comply with HIPAA and other confidentiality regulations
