About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver various financial reporting supplemental and filing documents, including 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, and financial supplements, accurately and on time
- Own processes, reports, procedures, or products related to financial reporting, notes to accounts, and disclosures
- Prepare GAAP supplementals, financial statements, and notes to accounts for submission to the onshore team
- Lead and mentor junior team members
- Liaise with multiple departments during the close to ensure timely completion of deliverables
- Collaborate on special projects
- Support quarterly and annual audits conducted by internal and independent external auditors
- Participate in or lead special projects, initiatives, ad hoc reporting, and analysis requests
- Understand and anticipate clients’ business needs and proactively resolve concerns
- Identify process improvement opportunities to drive efficiency and enhance controls
- Ensure adequacy of internal controls over financial reporting and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 4–6 years of relevant experience
- 5+ years of experience in financial reporting (SEC reporting) stated in the detailed qualifications
- Knowledge of US GAAP reporting concepts and accounting standards
- Knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Power BI
- Experience or knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle and Wdesk
- Knowledge of financial reporting, SEC filings, audited financial statements, and accounting
- Good communication skills
