About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Complete audits for Property & Casualty insurance policies (Workers’ Compensation and General Liability)
  • Work directly with policyholders or their contacts via phone to obtain payroll and accounting records
  • Accurately evaluate and apply correct classifications and exposure amounts
  • Manage assignments provided through the web-based production system
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and customer satisfaction in all audit work

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Knowledge and experience conducting audits within the Nexus platform preferred
  • Insurance, Accounting/Bookkeeping, Payroll, or other related work experience
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Bookkeeping
  • Experience working directly with the public, preferably by phone
  • Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision
  • Well organized
  • Willing to work from home
  • Great customer service skills and ability to communicate and comprehend both written and oral communication
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • High School diploma or GED required
