About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform audit activities assigned by the Area and/or Regional Manager
  • Determine audit priorities and schedule audits to meet deadlines
  • Prepare appointment letters
  • Conduct detailed reviews of related business records
  • Perform physical and remote audits of insured businesses
  • Interview, investigate, collect, and record information for written reports
  • Prepare written reports of findings for insurance carriers
  • Meet with business owners/managers to review audit results and implement required actions
  • Transmit completed reports to Quality Review by the due date
  • Correct and complete audits returned for correction and resubmit them timely
  • Maintain accurate audit, assignment, expense, and time records
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years’ experience performing remote/field Premium Insurance Audits
  • Ability to work independently from home
  • Experience with the MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Self-motivated and self-disciplined with willingness to learn
  • Excellent time management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work with little direct supervision
  • Good interpersonal and client communication skills
  • Ability to use available resources to complete assigned projects
  • Knowledge of computer applications for documenting and recording audit findings
  • Familiarity with audit functions
  • Territory: Philadelphia, PA and surrounding areas
