About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

The Manager of Accounting & Tax will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting activities.
Ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and assisting in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements & tax filings.
This role will work closely with senior management, external auditors, to ensure compliance with financial and tax reporting standards.
The position requires strong technical accounting and tax knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Assists in the documentation process & preparation of SOPs.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Masters degree in Finance
8-10 years of experience in book close activities, tax returns with at least 6-7 years in a managerial or leadership role
In-depth knowledge of tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GAAP, IFRS, corporate tax laws)
Preferred prior experience in (e.g., OneSource, Salesforce, etc).
Strong Accounting knowledge & prior experience in US Tax domain or insurance industry
Strong Communication, demonstrating attention to detail, excellent analytical skills and competent at logical reasoning
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and work collaboratively with senior leadership.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with various stakeholders.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
