About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee and lead multiple projects concurrently with expertise in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Project Planning & Scheduling: Lead projects from requirements definition through to deployment, ensuring schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans are accurately created.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring effective project execution in collaboration with project staff.
- Progress Monitoring & Adaptation: Analyze project progress and adapt project scope, timelines, and costs as necessary.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status.
- Agile & Waterfall Methodology Coordination: Lead Scrum ceremonies in a hybrid Agile environment.
- SDLC Governance: Review project artefacts for correctness and completeness.
- Project Resourcing & Cost Management: Manage project resourcing, ensuring accurate tracking of actuals and estimates.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor Degree in relevant field with 6- 8 years of relevant experience
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience as a Project Manager/Engineering Manager. Ideal 8-10 years’ experience in IT.
- Finance domain literacy - exposure to P2P, O2C, or R2R processes
- Proven experience managing at least 2 projects in parallel.
- At least 2 projects were managed using Agile methodology as a Scrum Master.
- At least 2 projects were managed in a Waterfall environment as a Project Manager.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a project end-to-end from initiation to closure.
- Experience in consulting or client-facing environments, with a focus on managing client expectations and requirements.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail in tracking deliverables, KPIs, and project milestones.
- Ability to collaborate across teams, influence decision-making, and foster a high-performance culture within the delivery team.
- Relevant certifications such as PMI, Prince2, SAFe Agile, CPMAI etc.
