About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand objectives, challenges, and requirements
- Document business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings to gather and validate needs
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities
- Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to track performance metrics
- Support data-driven decision-making using tools like Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau
- Evaluate current business processes and identify inefficiencies
- Recommend and implement process optimization and automation solutions
- Act as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and vendors
- Ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered accurately
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (Sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or related field
- 3–7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
- Strong experience in requirements gathering and documentation
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau)
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
