About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain **Snowflake data warehouses** and data marts
Exposure in python
Develop and optimize **SQL queries, views, and stored procedures** in Snowflake
Implement **data ingestion pipelines** from multiple sources using Snowflake (internal/external stages)
Perform **performance tuning**, query optimization, and cost optimization
Build and maintain **ELT workflows** using Snowflake features (Streams, Tasks)
Ensure **data quality, accuracy, and security** across datasets
Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Support reporting and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
Troubleshoot data issues and provide production support
Document technical designs, data models, and development standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's/Master's in Engineering 2-5 years
Strong hands-on experience with **Snowflake Data Warehouse**
Advanced **SQL** skills (complex joins, CTEs, window functions)
Experience with **cloud platforms** (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Knowledge of **data warehousing concepts** (star/snowflake schemas, fact & dimension tables)
Experience with **ETL/ELT tools** (Informatica, Matillion, dbt, Airflow, Talend, etc.)
Understanding of **Snowflake features**:
Virtual Warehouses
Micro-partitions
Clustering
Streams & Tasks
Time Travel & Zero-Copy Cloning
Familiarity with **data security** (RBAC, masking policies)
