Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric
Build and manage data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Fabric Pipelines and Dataflows Gen2
Develop ETL/ELT processes using PySpark, Spark SQL, and SQL
Implement and support Lakehouse and Data Warehouse solutions
Design and maintain medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers)
Create and optimize semantic models for Microsoft Power BI reporting and analytics
Support Direct Lake and other Fabric analytical capabilities
Monitor production jobs, troubleshoot failures, and perform root cause analysis

Requirements

What you’ll need

4-8 years of experience in Data Engineering and Analytics Engineering
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
Strong SQL development skills
Experience with PySpark or Spark SQL
Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines
Understanding of Lakehouse and Data Warehouse concepts
Familiarity with Power BI and semantic modeling
Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
Knowledge of Git/version control practices
Preferred Skills Experience with:
Medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold)
Dataflows Gen2
Fabric Pipelines
OneLake
Delta tables
Direct Lake
Exposure to:
Azure Data Factory
Databricks
ADLS Gen2
Event driven architectures
Understanding of monitoring and observability practices
