About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The Project Manager will plan, initiate, and oversee execution of various operational projects, often working with multiple internal teams, contractors, and clients.
- The person is often involved in early discussions with the client and upper management to ensure a clear understanding of the client's desired goals and outcomes.
- The project manager will then work with the team to determine what resources, processes, and other materials will be necessary to complete the project in the desired timeline, drawing up plans for every phase of execution.
- This often involves delegating tasks or significant portions of the project to coordinators or teams of employees in order to be able to maintain a broad overall view of the entire project throughout.
- The Project Manager is the one ultimately responsible for the final quality of a project, ensuring that it's delivered on time and to the client's satisfaction.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor degree or higher in a related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Strong Time Management
- Long-Term Planning skills
- Able to Visualize Complex Processes
- Excellent Multi-Tasking
- Excellent Communication and relationship building skills for all levels
- Experienced with Financial Planning and Budgeting
- Strong Resource Management
- Excellent Presentation Skills
- Possess a solid understanding of various software development processes, including requirements gathering, analysis and design, release and version control, testing methodologies, and deployment management
- Proven ability to work independently, under pressure and/or within a restricted timeframe.
- Strong customer management skills, including the ability to work with them to develop and manage an implementation plan.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project to report resource allocation, project percent complete, actual vs. budget variances and similar details.
- Proficienct in MS Office (Including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Project
- 1-3 years as a professional Project Manager within a highly complex corporate environment, managing high dollar, multi-phased projects.
- 1-3 years Business Application Implementation experience
- Managed Care, HMO or healthcare experience desired.
