About the role
- Assist with the administration and maintenance of the SIEM platform, including log management, alert configuration, and system monitoring.
- Support incident response by triaging and investigating security incidents, and analyze security data to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
- Maintain documentation, track reports on security events, and participate in training sessions to enhance SIEM-related skills.
- Act as Level 1 support to monitor cyber defense solutions like SIEM, DLP, CASB and EDR etc.
- Managing day to day operation in cyber security operation center (SOC) at Jersey city office.
- Work on predefined processes that defined processes that what and how the activities to be performed.
- Liaise with other team member to investigate the issues.
- Ensure smooth operations while on shift and address any issues, or questions from analyst and stakeholders.
- Research and escalate potential threats to clients for remediation or incident response based EXL processes.
Requirements
- bachelor's degree in information technology
- Basic knowledge of Information Security would be preferred.
