About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using React for frontend and Java/Spring Boot for backend services
- Build secure REST APIs, optimize database design and queries, and ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability
- Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality, production-ready features
- Drive technical design discussions, perform code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and mentor junior engineers if needed
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve development efficiency, code quality, testing, and documentation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- 6+ years of relevant experience
- Strong hands-on experience in React, including state management, Redux/RTK, Hooks, and TypeScript
- Backend development experience using Java and Spring Boot
- Good understanding of REST API architecture, authentication, middleware, exception handling, logging, Swagger/OpenAPI, and unit testing
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL/MongoDB, SQL optimization, database migrations, and performance tuning
- Comprehensive knowledge of Kafka, Git workflows, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure or GCP)
- Experience integrating AWS services and building scalable, production-grade applications
- Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants and LLM tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, and improving developer productivity
