About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct in-depth analysis of client requirements and industry trends to identify strategic sourcing opportunities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies, including market research and supplier identification
- Engage with clients to understand their unique needs and tailor sourcing solutions accordingly
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for clients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing initiatives with overall business objectives
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring compliance with agreed-upon SLAs and KPIs
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficient procurement processes
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in strategic sourcing
- Provide regular progress reports and present findings to clients and stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, preferably in the insurance industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with a track record of building strong client relationships
- Proficiency in using sourcing and procurement software tools
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and a results-driven mindset
- Willingness to travel as required for client engagements
