About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review, call, analyze, and manage assigned outstanding receivables portfolios
- Interact with and probe insurance representatives to obtain status updates and resolve claims
- Meet daily productivity targets at the required quality level
- Follow up on claims to avoid revenue loss and prioritize pending claims from aging buckets
- Review unpaid claims and verify insufficient or unclear patient insurance information
- Escalate difficult collection situations to management
- Handle patient billing queries and update account information
- Post cash and write off contractual adjustments
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly individual targets
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduation in any stream
- 3–6 years of BPO experience
- US Healthcare AR experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- High-speed internet connection at home; broadband required
- Must understand and adhere to the telecommuter policy
- Must follow confidentiality and HIPAA compliance guidelines
