About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Process Accounts Payable invoices and manage vendors, including updating banking details in vendor master records
- Support AP invoice payment runs and month-end close procedures
- Validate employee expenses and invoices in the accounting system and submit them for payment approval
- Handle check payment requests
- Perform cash application and daily bank reconciliation
- Handle cash month-end close procedures and follow up on unapplied receipts and bank-statement payments
- Apply payments against Accounts Payable invoices and receipts against Accounts Receivable invoices
- Support the year-end statutory audit
- Reconcile vendor balances and resolve unreconciled transactions
