About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Follow every aspect of SOP without fail
Complete received audits with quality
Achieve quality and production targets
Follow project-related protocols and instructions
Escalate issues and identify trends
Update productivity, clarification, and other applicable logs daily
Check with the Manager/Team Lead for clarifications
Answer all Manager emails promptly
Apply problem-solving skills
Ensure entire-team compliance with HIPAA and OIG requirements
Attend mandatory in-office training

Requirements

What you’ll need

CPC certification
CPMA certification listed
Life science/Paramedical Degree
Overall 3+ years of coding experience
3+ years of multi-specialty surgery coding experience, including IVR and General Surgery
Specialty experience in outpatient surgery
APC facility coding familiarity is an added advantage
Computer skill sets/proficiency
Strong written and oral communication skills
Good communication, flexibility, and reliability
Ability to work 40 hours per week, full time
Ability to work 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM IST
High-speed broadband internet connection at home
Must understand and adhere to the telecommuter policy
Auditing and denial management experience is optional
