About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Follow every aspect of SOP without fail
Complete received audits with quality
Achieve quality and production targets
Follow project-related protocols and instructions
Escalate issues and identify trends
Update productivity, clarification, and other applicable logs daily
Check with the Manager/Team Lead for clarifications
Answer all manager emails promptly
Ensure compliance of the entire team with HIPAA and OIG requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Life science/Paramedical Degree
CPC/CPMA certification; CPC certification is mandatory
Mandatory 3+ years of experience after certification
Overall 3+ years of multi-specialty surgery coding experience, including IVR and General Surgery
Computer skill sets/proficiency
Strong written and oral communication skills
Specialty experience in outpatient surgery
APC facility coding familiarity is an added advantage
Auditing and denial management experience is optional
Must understand and adhere to the telecommuter policy
Must work 40 hours per week as a full-time employee
Must work 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM IST
Strong problem-solving skills
Must ensure compliance with HIPAA and OIG requirements
