About the role
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans for multi-team data deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across data engineering, analytics, and business units.
- Ensure timely execution of project milestones and deliverables.
- Requirement & Stream Management: Track and manage requirements across multiple data streams.
- Ensure alignment between business needs and technical implementation.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting: Report directly to the Data Lead and provide regular status updates.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business, technical teams, and external stakeholders.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies clearly and proactively.
- RAID & Risk Management: Maintain and manage RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project delivery.
- Track budgets, forecast costs, and ensure efficient utilization of resources.
Requirements
- 5 years of project management experience in insurance, with a focus on data and claims delivery.
- Proven experience in managing data-centric projects, preferably within data management & Data modernization project
- Strong understanding of insurance claims workflows and data systems.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, MS Project, Rally, or similar.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certificates such as PMP or equivalent project management certification are preferred.
- Insurance industry certifications (e.g., AINS, CPU) are a plus.
