About the role

Follow every aspect of SOP without fail
Complete received audits with quality
Achieve quality and production targets
Follow project-related protocols and instructions
Escalate issues and identify trends
Update productivity, clarification, and other applicable logs daily
Check with Manager/TL in case of clarifications
Answer all emails from the Manager promptly
Apply problem-solving skills
Ensure entire-team compliance with HIPAA and OIG requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

CPC certification; mandatory 3+ years of experience after certification
Overall 3+ years of coding experience
Life science/Paramedical Degree
CPC/CPMA
Computer skill sets
Multi-specialty surgery coding experience including IVR and General Surgery
Specialty worked: Outpatient surgery
APC Facility coding is an added advantage
Auditing and denial management experience (Optional)
Strong written (documentation) and oral communication skills
Good communication, flexibility, reliability
High-speed broadband internet connection at home
Must understand and adhere to telecommuter policy
Willingness to attend mandatory in-office training
