About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Elicit requirements and map current and future-state processes
Perform gap analysis and document functional specifications and acceptance criteria
Create and maintain user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria
Write, refine, and manage user stories in the product backlog
Collaborate with engineering and Scrum teams to plan sprints and prioritize backlogs
Act as the voice of the customer within the Scrum team and participate in agile ceremonies
Coordinate with QA and business users to validate features against acceptance criteria and business expectations
Liaise between business stakeholders and engineering to translate complex business needs into technical requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree
6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or in a similar role within an Agile/Scrum environment
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Requirements elicitation, process mapping (As-Is / To-Be), and gap analysis
Functional specifications (FSDs), acceptance criteria, and data/workflow analysis
Translating complex business needs into clear, testable technical requirements
User story writing and refinement, backlog prioritization, and grooming
Sprint planning and execution
Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent backlog and documentation tools
