About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop new machine learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP) models
Design, train, and implement ML and deep learning architectures
Establish evaluation metrics, analyze performance, brainstorm future steps and expansion, and perform exploratory data analysis and data visualization
Build multi-feature ML classification models for various clinical programs and clients
Design and develop NLP models for unstructured medical records to improve in-house algorithms
Oversee delivery of results with analytic insights, interpretations, and recommendations
Review analytic deliverables, identify and resolve data issues, and recommend investigations
Design, develop, evolve, and implement processes and procedures ensuring compliance with governance policies
Propose state-of-the-art technologies and processes to improve efficiency and enhance the reporting platform
Work at various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related quantitative technical field plus 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a related occupation
Alternatively, Bachelor’s degree in one of the listed fields plus 5 years of experience in lieu of a Master’s degree plus 3 years of experience
At least 3 years of experience building machine learning/NLP models, or at least 5 years under the bachelor’s alternative
Experience building and deploying ML classification models using Python, TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit-Learn, and PyTorch
Experience with statistics, segmentation, clustering, linear and logistic predictive models, Random Forest, and Ensemble models
Experience with distributed data warehouses or data lakes
Experience with cloud databases
Experience building and implementing neural networks and deep learning models
Experience performing statistical analysis, data exploration, and data visualization using Python, NumPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib
Experience gathering, preprocessing, and compiling data from various sources using SQL
Availability for 40 hours/week, 9:00am–5:00pm
