About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication management for patients ages 5 and older
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans aligned with each patient's needs and goals
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, monitoring for effectiveness and potential side effects
- Diagnose and treat co-occurring behavioral health and substance-use conditions
- Collaborate with primary care providers, therapists, and multidisciplinary care teams
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation within partner-site electronic health record systems
- Deliver care through telehealth while building trusted relationships with patients and care teams
- Contribute to behavioral health programs that continue to evolve with the needs of the communities served
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active Tennessee PMHNP license (required)
- Active DEA registration
- At least three years of clinical experience
- Experience working in community-based behavioral health
- Experience providing psychiatric medication management
- Ability to independently manage complex cases using strong clinical judgment
- Experience treating patients across the lifespan
- Commitment to full-time practice
- Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Comfort using telehealth platforms and digital clinical tools
