About the role

  • Lead and mentor a team of talented engineers focused on building, maintaining, and scaling operational platforms
  • Define and execute the technical roadmap, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives
  • Guide the team through the full software development lifecycle —from planning and architecture to deployment and support
  • Collaborate with product management, UX, and operations to translate business needs into clear technical strategies
  • Shape engineering culture by setting technical standards and best practices
  • Foster an environment of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement
  • Manage team growth, including hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and career development
  • Oversee budgeting, resource planning, and project progress reporting

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineering Manager
  • 5+ years of hands-on software development experience
  • Proven track record in mentoring, coaching, and managing engineers
  • Experience in Scrum Master practices and agile leadership
  • Strong technical expertise across the SDLC (from ideation to deployment and support)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience improving processes to boost team efficiency and predictability
  • Background in budgeting and resource planning
  • Advanced English level (spoken and written)
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) (Nice to Have)
  • Experience with DevSecOps principles (monitoring, observability, risk mitigation) (Nice to Have)
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance (HIPAA, HITRUST) (Nice to Have)
  • Experience with AI/ML systems (Nice to Have)
  • Previous experience in startups or regulated industries (Nice to Have)
