About the role
- Lead and mentor a team of talented engineers focused on building, maintaining, and scaling operational platforms
- Define and execute the technical roadmap, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives
- Guide the team through the full software development lifecycle —from planning and architecture to deployment and support
- Collaborate with product management, UX, and operations to translate business needs into clear technical strategies
- Shape engineering culture by setting technical standards and best practices
- Foster an environment of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement
- Manage team growth, including hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and career development
- Oversee budgeting, resource planning, and project progress reporting
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineering Manager
- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience
- Proven track record in mentoring, coaching, and managing engineers
- Experience in Scrum Master practices and agile leadership
- Strong technical expertise across the SDLC (from ideation to deployment and support)
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience improving processes to boost team efficiency and predictability
- Background in budgeting and resource planning
- Advanced English level (spoken and written)
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) (Nice to Have)
- Experience with DevSecOps principles (monitoring, observability, risk mitigation) (Nice to Have)
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance (HIPAA, HITRUST) (Nice to Have)
- Experience with AI/ML systems (Nice to Have)
- Previous experience in startups or regulated industries (Nice to Have)
