About the role

  • As the QA lead within your development pod, you will own the quality lifecycle and ensure each release meets the highest standards.
  • Validate web and mobile experiences, ensuring accurate content, functional links, correct rendering of visual assets, and smooth integration with external tools.
  • Perform functional, integration, accessibility, and end-to-end manual testing to uncover defects and validate new features.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript, improving coverage and efficiency.
  • Analyze test results to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Document defects clearly and effectively using tools such as Jira or Xray.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to understand system functionality and testing impact.
  • Provide clear communication to stakeholders regarding test progress, risks, and results.
  • Continuously refine and optimize automated tests for better performance and reliability.
  • Stay current with evolving QA tools, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of manual testing experience for web applications.
  • Experience designing and writing automated tests using JavaScript and frameworks such as Cypress or Selenium.
  • Hands-on experience with defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira/Xray).
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and testing best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in accessibility testing.
  • Strong communication skills to clearly present QA findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly driven mindset with a passion for product quality and user experience.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, multi-project environments such as agencies, consultancies, or startups.
