About the role
- Monitoring, operation and maintenance of gas pressure regulating stations and water pressure reducing stations
- Reviewing maintenance reports and determining maintenance intervals
- Commissioning and decommissioning of systems in compliance with all relevant regulations
- Instructing and supervising external contractors
- Initiating and overseeing necessary modification and retrofit works
- Directing and supervising the work execution of EWR employees
- Liaison with customers, authorities and suppliers
- Certification/competence according to DVGW worksheets G280, G495 and G498
- Participation in the on-call duty roster
Requirements
- Degree in engineering (Diplom‑Ingenieur, Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Engineering)
- Experience in the operation of gas and water systems or in plant engineering
- Knowledge of DVGW regulations, accident prevention regulations (safety) as well as environmental and hazardous‑substances law
- Further training and/or seminars on the installation and operation of systems in gas and water networks
- Customer‑oriented approach and professional demeanor
- Leadership skills for instructing and supervising work execution
- Driver’s license, Class B
- Proficiency with industry‑specific IT/software tools
