About the role
- Design and build fullstack features across the billing lifecycle, from backend services to user-facing interfaces.
- Develop billing consoles and dashboards, including usage visualisation, invoice management, and subscription workflows.
- Build tools for managing pricing models, SKUs, and discount structures used by product and commercial teams.
- Design APIs that abstract complex billing logic into clear and reliable contracts for frontend consumption.
- Implement data-heavy interfaces such as cost projections, usage trends, and reconciliation views.
- Establish frontend patterns and components for scalable, high-performance administrative interfaces.
- Work closely with product and design to translate complex billing concepts into intuitive user workflows.
- Integrate billing systems with external services such as payment providers, accounting systems, and CRMs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in fullstack engineering, ideally building data-intensive web applications.
- Backend experience in Golang or Python, building APIs and handling authentication, versioning, and middleware.
- Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript
- Solid understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL), including schema design, indexing, and performance considerations.
- Experience working with complex system integrations and external services.
- Familiarity with SaaS billing concepts such as invoicing, usage-based pricing, and subscription management.
- Ability to translate complex data and systems into clear, reliable user experiences.
