About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Install, relocate and maintain dewatering pipelines, pumps and associated infrastructure
- Monitor and troubleshoot diesel-powered pumping systems to minimise downtime and production delays
- Conduct inspections, fault finding and preventative maintenance across a large operational footprint
- Support operational readiness activities, site infrastructure moves and general site services
- Build working relationships with operational teams, contractors and stakeholders while working independently
- Champion safe work practices, environmental compliance and high housekeeping standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Practical dewatering experience
- Experience in dewatering, pumping or water management within mining, civil, infrastructure or industrial operations
- Demonstrated experience working with pumps, pipelines and water transfer systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to identify and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervision
- Strong commitment to safety and risk management
- Clear communication skills and confidence working with varied stakeholders
- Competent computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records
- Current WA C Class Driver's Licence
- Open pit mining experience highly regarded
- Dogman ticket highly regarded
- Front End Loader, Integrated Tool Carrier (IT) or Excavator operating experience highly regarded
- Knowledge of pump curves and pumping system performance highly regarded
