About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build workforce capability by delivering engaging training, assessments and learning programs across site operations.
- Support safe and compliant operations by maintaining training standards, competency requirements and legislative compliance.
- Create and improve learning resources, training materials and assessment tools that drive consistent outcomes across the operation.
- Influence employee development through mentoring, coaching and support for new starters, apprentices, trainees and operational personnel.
- Partner with leaders across site to identify capability gaps and deliver practical training solutions that support business performance.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in training, assessment, workforce development or operational leadership.
- Hands on operational experience within mining, processing, maintenance or a related industrial environment.
- Workplace Assessor Skillset or equivalent capability.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage people at all levels.
- Sound Microsoft Office skills and the ability to manage training records and documentation.
- A commitment to safety, compliance and developing others.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- A Cert IV in Training and Assessment, Learning Management Systems (LMS) experience, SAP Business System knowledge or previous mining training experience will be highly regarded.
