Key responsibilities & impact

Operate large excavators in line with mine plans and design tolerances
Maintain dig faces, floor RLs, batters and haul roads to maximise efficiency
Complete pre-starts, identifying defects and operating equipment within limits
Use MineStar GPS to ensure accuracy and reporting system issues
Contribute to safe, productive shifts through clear communication and teamwork

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience on large production excavators in open cut mining
Open to relocating to West Wyalong or currently reside close by
Current Australian driver’s licence
Strong safety awareness and hazard identification skills
Good mechanical sympathy and attention to detail
Ability to work a rotating roster and perform in a team environment
