Key responsibilities & impact

Own short-term planning, delivering clear and achievable monthly and quarterly schedules
Contribute to longer-term planning, including life-of-mine development and budget/forecast schedules
Monitor performance against plan, identify gaps, and find smarter, more efficient ways of working
Keep a close eye on costs and ensure designs maximise value without compromising safety
Identify risks early in the design phase and build in practical controls before they become issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

A degree in Mining Engineering (or a related discipline)
3+ years underground mine engineering experience (design, planning, scheduling, and D&B)
Proven experience in monthly and quarterly planning schedules
Previous involvement in in the long-term scheduling (budgeting/forecasting of the LOM)
A high level of proficiency with mine design software, ideally Deswik and Aegis.
