About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own short-term planning, delivering clear and achievable monthly and quarterly schedules
  • Contribute to longer-term planning, including life-of-mine development and budget/forecast schedules
  • Monitor performance against plan, identify gaps, and find smarter, more efficient ways of working
  • Keep a close eye on costs and ensure designs maximise value without compromising safety
  • Identify risks early in the design phase and build in practical controls before they become issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A degree in Mining Engineering (or a related discipline)
  • 3+ years underground mine engineering experience (design, planning, scheduling, and D&B)
  • Proven experience in monthly and quarterly planning schedules
  • Previous involvement in in the long-term scheduling (budgeting/forecasting of the LOM)
  • A high level of proficiency with mine design software, ideally Deswik and Aegis.
