About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Further develop your career in underground ventilation within a technically strong and supportive mining environment.
- Ensure safe and efficient working conditions across the Mungari underground operations.
- Conduct surveys and maintain models through to contributing to Life of Mine planning.
- Strengthen capability in ventilation modelling, airflow optimisation, and system performance analysis.
- Collaborate with mining, geotechnical, and electrical teams to deliver practical and effective outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to improve ventilation efficiency, including involvement in optimisation projects such as ventilation on demand.
- Deepen understanding of risk management and ensure controls are embedded in day-to-day operations and long-term plans.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering
- 3+ years’ experience in underground mining, with exposure to ventilation engineering
- Proven capability using ventilation modelling software, ideally Ventsim
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present technical and operational information
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across multiple teams
- A strong commitment to safety and the ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
