Key responsibilities & impact

Further develop your career in underground ventilation within a technically strong and supportive mining environment.
Ensure safe and efficient working conditions across the Mungari underground operations.
Conduct surveys and maintain models through to contributing to Life of Mine planning.
Strengthen capability in ventilation modelling, airflow optimisation, and system performance analysis.
Collaborate with mining, geotechnical, and electrical teams to deliver practical and effective outcomes.
Identify opportunities to improve ventilation efficiency, including involvement in optimisation projects such as ventilation on demand.
Deepen understanding of risk management and ensure controls are embedded in day-to-day operations and long-term plans.

Requirements

What you’ll need

A tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering
3+ years’ experience in underground mining, with exposure to ventilation engineering
Proven capability using ventilation modelling software, ideally Ventsim
Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present technical and operational information
A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across multiple teams
A strong commitment to safety and the ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
