About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Supporting a proactive safety culture across the Ernest Henry operation
Leading risk assessments, incident investigations (including ICAMs), and internal audits
Building strong relationships across departments and mentoring supervisors and workers in the field
Delivering engaging safety training and supporting return‑to‑work processes
Ensuring accurate reporting and analysis of safety performance data to support informed decision‑making

Requirements

What you’ll need

A Cert IV in OHS and significant previous experience in mining or similar high‑risk industries
Strong capability in risk management, audits, and ICAM investigations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management systems (INX experience highly regarded)
Ability to develop WHS documentation and procedures that support compliance and engagement
Strong communication skills and the ability to influence safe behaviours in operational environments
