Engineer – Mine Planning
Evolution MiningMine Planning Engineer responsible for developing underground mine designs and schedules for Evolution Mining. Collaborating with planning, scheduling, and underground operations teams for efficient execution.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Developing, maintaining and optimising medium-term underground mine designs and schedules
- Conceiving and producing detailed lateral and vertical development designs
- Owning and producing area and level design notes
- Liaising with key stakeholders to deliver designs aligned to the mine plan and schedule
- Providing input into short-, medium- and long-term design and scheduling activities
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date design databases reflecting changes in priorities and plans
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Mine Engineer or similar
- Underground mine planning experience
- Experience across core mine planning activities
- Mine planning software experience, with Deswik advantageous
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A team-focused approach with the ability to develop toward broader scheduling responsibilities
