About the role
- Drive the strategy, design, and delivery of innovative technology solutions for Utilization Management and prior authorization applications.
- Lead agile teams, collaborate across functions, and ensure product compliance.
- Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap for UM and provider portal solutions.
- Translate strategic goals into actionable product requirements using data and stakeholder feedback.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for UM workflows, overseeing product documentation processes.
- Build strong relationships with clinical operations and engineering teams to meet end-user needs.
- Identify initiatives to improve efficiency and compliance in workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare technology, with a focus on Utilization Management, prior authorization, or provider portal solutions.
- Proven track record of leading agile teams and delivering successful UM or provider-facing products.
- Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to completion.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong understanding of healthcare data formats (eligibility, claims, authorizations) and compliance standards.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Visio).
