Develop analytic tools and assist in pricing specialty risk products
Complemented by monthly reserve management for key clients
Perform financial analyses to support key partners
Perform data analyses and financial simulations to support leadership’s pursuit of new specialty business
Assist in the development of underlying pricing assumptions
Develop actuarial models for use across multiple teams and projects
Streamline processes to improve efficiency of key deliverables
Communicate actuarial concepts and concerns within actuarial department
Play a key role in Evolent’s future partnerships to change the way healthcare is delivered

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Economics or related degree
Candidates must be on the Actuarial exam track, having passed a minimum of one actuarial exam
Strong technical skills required in Microsoft Office
Ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders
Reliable, takes initiative, and manages competing deadlines
Desires to work on challenging projects for a high-growth organization
Works collaboratively and pitches in for the greater good of the team
Is detail-oriented and owns their results
Past actuarial experience and/or internship (Preferred)
Familiarity with healthcare analytics (Preferred)
Ability to read and write SQL and/or SAS code (Preferred)
Familiarity with PowerQuery/BI/VBA/Python/R (Preferred)
