About the role
- Designing, implementing, and managing containerization solutions using platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes, with a strong focus on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Apps (ACA ).\n
- Develop and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines ( CI/CD ) using GitHub.\n
- Collaborate with the software development team to containerize existing applications and deploy them on Azure.\n
- Automate deployment, scaling, and management of containerized workloads on Azure.\n
- Follow security best practice to ensure containerized workloads are fully secure.\n
- Partner with SRE in advancing Infra as Code and Config as Code discipline.\n
- Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies in containerization.\n
- Thoroughly document processes and configurations related to containerization efforts.\n
- Mentor other team members in microservice architecture and containers orchestration.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on Azure and 5+ years of overall cloud-native DevOps experience\n
- Have a DevOps/SRE mindset: debugging complex systems and root cause analysis (and automation)\n
- Expertise in scripting or programming language (PowerShell or Python)\n
- Proven experience in implementing and managing container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker; familiarity with ArgoCD and Helm\n
- Experience with other Azure services such as Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Service Fabric\n
- Demonstrated experience working with CI/CD pipelines integrated with a Git strategy (GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines, GitLab CI/CD, BitBucket Pipelines, etc)\n
- Familiarity with Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR API) and Azure Health Data Services (AHDS)\n
- Experience leveraging agile methodology (i.e., Scrumban) to manage project work\n
- Extremely good at communication and comfortable with high level of transparency\n
- Bonus: Familiarity with other CNCF projects such as Dapr, Flux, and KEDA\n
