About the role

  • Designing, implementing, and managing containerization solutions using platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes, with a strong focus on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Apps (ACA ).\n
  • Develop and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines ( CI/CD ) using GitHub.\n
  • Collaborate with the software development team to containerize existing applications and deploy them on Azure.\n
  • Automate deployment, scaling, and management of containerized workloads on Azure.\n
  • Follow security best practice to ensure containerized workloads are fully secure.\n
  • Partner with SRE in advancing Infra as Code and Config as Code discipline.\n
  • Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies in containerization.\n
  • Thoroughly document processes and configurations related to containerization efforts.\n
  • Mentor other team members in microservice architecture and containers orchestration.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on Azure and 5+ years of overall cloud-native DevOps experience\n
  • Have a DevOps/SRE mindset: debugging complex systems and root cause analysis (and automation)\n
  • Expertise in scripting or programming language (PowerShell or Python)\n
  • Proven experience in implementing and managing container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker; familiarity with ArgoCD and Helm\n
  • Experience with other Azure services such as Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Service Fabric\n
  • Demonstrated experience working with CI/CD pipelines integrated with a Git strategy (GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines, GitLab CI/CD, BitBucket Pipelines, etc)\n
  • Familiarity with Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR API) and Azure Health Data Services (AHDS)\n
  • Experience leveraging agile methodology (i.e., Scrumban) to manage project work\n
  • Extremely good at communication and comfortable with high level of transparency\n
  • Bonus: Familiarity with other CNCF projects such as Dapr, Flux, and KEDA\n
