About the role

Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of enterprise data across analytics and reporting platforms
Design, define, and implement end-to-end data quality and validation frameworks from the ground up
Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across source and target systems
Develop and execute SQL-based test cases to validate transformations, aggregations, and business rules
Perform ETL/ELT testing for batch and incremental data pipelines
Conduct data reconciliation, row-level and aggregate-level comparisons
Automate data quality checks and regression tests, especially on Snowflake
Collaborate closely with Data Engineering, BI, and Analytics teams to identify and resolve data issues
Document data quality metrics, test scenarios, and defect reports
Ensure adherence to data governance, compliance, and best practices

6–9 Years of experience as Data QA Engineer / Data Quality Analyst
Strong hands-on experience validating complex data pipelines
Designing data quality frameworks from scratch
Strong understanding of data pipelines, data warehousing concepts, and ETL/ELT workflows
Advanced proficiency in SQL, including complex joins, aggregations, subqueries, and nested queries
Experience validating data across multiple systems (source vs. target reconciliation)
Proven ability to define and execute QA processes independently
Hands-on experience with Snowflake or other cloud data platforms
Snowflake automation experience is mandatory
