About the role

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines and architectures for analytics, machine learning and AI workloads.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, data scientists, and developers to understand requirements and transform them into scalable data solutions.
  • Contribute actively to the delivery of projects, taking responsibility for the data and AI aspects in client implementations.
  • Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies, optimising for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Document solutions and processes, and provide training to colleagues and end-users when needed.
  • Drive usage and best practices of modern data platforms among customers and internally.
  • Support the team with advice on data engineering, AI and MLOps, ensuring optimal use of resources and platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or a related field.
  • Relevant experience can compensate for formal education.
  • Hands-on experience with data engineering technologies (e.g. Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, SQL, Python, Spark, Power BI).
  • Experience deploying, maintaining, or utilising machine learning and AI solutions in a production environment.
  • Strong understanding of cloud data solutions and modern data platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure or comparable).
  • Ability to translate business processes and requirements into technical data solutions.
  • Curious about new AI advancements and data-driven applications.
  • Collaborative team member with excellent communication skills, comfortable sharing expertise and helping others to grow.
  • Self-driven, structured, and eager to learn new technologies and concepts.
