About the role

  • At Evertech Solutions, we specialize in delivering cutting-edge digital products that blend strong backend logic with seamless frontend experiences.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize backend logic written in clean PHP within wp-content/themes/notice/app.
  • Manage and optimize MySQL databases to ensure performance, scalability, and security.
  • Extend and customize WordPress 6.8.1 templates and plugins based on project requirements.
  • Integrate APIs and create new endpoints for frontend communication.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers using Vue.js 3 (CDN integration, not SPA) for specific UI components (popups, login flows, dynamic elements).
  • Work with existing plugins and ensure compatibility with PHP 8.0.
  • Maintain and enhance custom-built plugins such as Migrate for importing categories/articles.
  • Support future integration with Firebase (websockets, Phase 2).
  • Optimize media workflows with AWS S3 (WP Offload Media Lite) and SES Lite.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues across backend and frontend integrations.
  • Ensure code quality, security, and documentation standards are followed.

Requirements

  • Frontend (integration only): Vue.js 3 (CDN-based, partial usage)
  • Plugins & Tools: Advanced Custom Fields PRO; Contact Form 7 & Flamingo; Safe SVG; Simple Local Avatars; WP Offload Media Lite (Amazon S3); WP Offload SES Lite; Edit Flow (custom client plugin); Custom plugin: Migrate
  • Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in backend development with PHP and MySQL.
  • Strong experience with WordPress core, themes, and plugins (custom development a plus).
  • Familiarity with Vue.js basics and integrating it into PHP templates.
  • Good understanding of REST APIs, authentication, and data exchange.
  • Experience with cloud storage/CDN integrations (preferably AWS S3).
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices, debugging, and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with ACF PRO, Contact Form 7, and related WordPress plugins.
  • Version control experience (Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with Firebase (authentication, real-time websockets).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Understanding of scalable architecture for content-heavy platforms.
  • Prior work with headless WordPress setups or partial SPA projects.
