About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Function as the primary point of contact within the assigned geographic area.
  • Maintain clinical and scientific expertise in oncology and immunotherapy with specific focus in standards of care related to the treatment of CCA and HCC.
  • Engage in informed, compliant, robust, and accurate scientific peer exchange around our client’s pipeline, with KOLs.
  • Develop and track key opinion leader (KOL) engagement plans.
  • Collaborate with R&D Team to support sites and investigators participating in clinical trials.
  • Conduct pre-launch KOL profiling efforts.
  • Represent our client at medical meetings through Medical Affairs’ Scientific Booth coverage.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • An advanced degree (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD, MSN, or NP/PA) is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years previous MSL experience necessary with a minimum of 1 year in rare disease, oncology (and/or immunology) with working knowledge of targeted therapies.
  • A minimum of 5 years of pharma experience and 3 years of rare disease, oncology (and/ or immunology) experience for Sr. MSL.
  • Gi Cancer Therapy experience is strongly preferred.
  • Prior product launch experience required.
  • The ability to interpret and present scientific data to engage KOLs.
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently (70%) with overnight stays.
