About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead multiple complex projects in the fleet space, with a heavy emphasis on cost savings and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with field employees, various suppliers, and internal EVS stakeholders
  • Focus on fleet projects to ensure benefits are maximized and sustained
  • Develop new and improved processes, metrics, and KPIs
  • Analyze fleet expenses and processes to identify long-term project opportunities
  • Recommend fleet selectors for a more fuel-efficient fleet by 2030
  • Establish, implement, and communicate the strategic direction of the department including SOPs
  • Ensure DOT regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal requirements
  • Deliver expected savings on all vehicle maintenance related projects
  • Work closely with Fleet Management Company partner to ensure project support and monitor SLAs
  • Evaluate, identify, and implement cost and service improvements with fleet-related suppliers
  • Develop and manage fuel program daily activities and projects
  • Negotiate discounts with fuel card provider and ensure compliance to policy
  • Develop and champion improvement planning processes
  • Design and implement a Fleet Dashboard summarizing business performance and financial impact of projects
  • Provide support on month-end close activities and implement a best-in-class fleet administrative program
  • Manage day-to-day fleet processes with the Fleet Team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is required
  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience including responsibility for end-to-end fleet operations and DOT regulatory compliance programs
  • 5+ years in a role focused on project management with an emphasis on continuous improvement and business analytics
  • Operational and technical expertise in aspects of fleet and asset management
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple, high-value cost saving projects
  • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and management skills
  • Ability to effectively manage third-party vendor relationships
  • Attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong professionalism with foundational skills such as presentation, reliability, and discipline
  • CAFM a plus
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Working knowledge of Fleet Management Software a plus
