About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Function as the primary medical point of contact in geographic area.
- Maintain clinical and scientific expertise in otolaryngology pathophysiology and gene therapy.
- Engage in well-informed, compliant, robust, and accurate scientific peer exchange around our client’s pipeline.
- Develop and track KOL engagement plans.
- Responsible for ongoing territory management and development.
- Conduct pre-launch KOL profiling efforts to enhance depth of product/disease/scientific knowledge.
- Provide internal teams with feedback and insights from interactions with KOLs.
Requirements
What you’ll need- An advanced degree (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD, MSN, or NP/PA) is required.
- A minimum of 2 years previous MSL experience necessary with a minimum of 1 year in rare disease, oncology (and/or immunology).
- A minimum of 5 years of pharma experience for Sr. MSL and 3 years of rare disease, oncology (and/or immunology) experience.
- Prior product launch experience required.
- Working knowledge of standards of care for HCC and CCA is desirable.
- Previous experience sharing scientific content with payer systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to present complex scientific and value and evidence data to payors and/or formulary committees is required.
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
