About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and maintain custom Salesforce applications, integrations, and extensions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other relevant technologies
  • Configure and customize standard Salesforce features, objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules to align with business requirements
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and reliability by designing and implementing effective data migration, transformation, and integration strategies
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior developers
  • Conduct code reviews and implement best practices to ensure high-quality and optimized code across projects
  • Plan and execute comprehensive unit tests, integration tests, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Oversee smooth and controlled deployments to production environments
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring optimal performance and scalability of Salesforce applications
  • Implement security measures and ensure compliance with Salesforce security standards and industry regulations
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, architecture diagrams, and user guides
  • Stay updated with the latest Salesforce releases, features, and industry trends

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 to 7 years of total experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Extensive experience as a Salesforce Developer, with a strong focus on developing Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Platform Developer I and II are highly desirable
  • Good understanding of Out of the box features such as Flows, Sharing rules, OWD, Data Loader and Lightning App builder
  • Familiarity with Healthcare domain
  • An understanding of Health Cloud will be an advantage
  • In-depth understanding of Salesforce configuration, data modeling, and security best practices
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations using APIs, middleware, and web services
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and version control systems
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
